NEWS FLASH
The Washington University Genome Center has completed the
physical map of the X. maculatus genome.
The Xiphophorus BAC minimal tiling path (BAC-MTP) map is
comprised of 1,131 total BAC contigs.
End sequences of 28k BAC clones in the library, including and the
BAC-MTP, are currently being analyzed
Data correlating the BAC-MTP with our EST database will be forthcoming
in the near future.
