Data
in the following page is representative information from "Genomic Approaches
in the Identification of Hypoxia Biomarkers in Model Fish Species" (JEMBE
Special Issue, "Ecological Impacts of Hypoxia on Living Resources"). In
this manuscript, 1,386 unique genes were found to be up or down regulated in
response to hypoxic (low oxygen level) conditions in one of the three
tissues examined including liver, gill, and brain. To search for regulated
genes within one or multiple tissues select the desired criteria from input
boxes above. Criteria connected by AND will display results that appear in
both of the specified criteria, while criteria connected by OR will display
results that appear in one or both of the specified criteria. Use NOT to
exclude a specific criteria from the search. The results given consist of
the Gene ID, BLAST X ID, and fold changes for hypoxic conditions compared to
normoxic conditions. Negative values represent fold changes in hypoxia
responsive genes which are down regulated when compared to gene expression
levels under normal oxygen levels. Positive values represent fold changes
for up regulation in gene expression. For additional information such as
the oligo sequence, a link to GenBank, and the gene's location on the Medaka
array, click on the Gene ID.
